Writing & Reviewing at Helium By Ruben Austria It was exciting to write at Helium on my first 3 months because of the earning potential. Now, after a year, I have already contributed over 70 articles with quite a good number of them in the upper 25%. However, I noticed that several times, they would get below the 25% level where I lose the opportunity to earn from it. It seems that reviewers, who are also contributors at Helium, rate articles according to length and not the sense it delivers. They were also quick to delete a couple of my articles saying that it was not under an appropriate title. Then surprisingly, they allow articles under inappropriate titles, like one, where my article only comes second to it! I have several articles there that remain 'solo' and not challenged by other articles. Most of them are about car repairs and maintenance. It's not as easy as it is to write at Helium as it is here. A minimum of 2400 characters or 400 words is required to be accepted but pending review for publishing. Well, there are many formats for online writing and maybe we just have to adjust to them.
